Oh, Doctor Fauci, where have ye gone?
You who told us how to live withon
the deadly virus that would kill us all.
Oh, Tony what happened to your folderol?

We miss you, Tony, on the TV shows.
We miss the little man who knows and knows
what is what with the mask(s) on our nose.
We miss you Tony, who knows and knows.

Now we see the Ukraine bombs and death in the street.
Sure it’s interesting and seems a treat
to distract us from our useless lives not complete.
But we miss you Tony. Your story was so neat.

Like your debonair manner in your suits and ties.
Like your testimony in Congress full of lies.
We didn’t mind for we had no minds at all.
We loved listening to your mad folderol.

And now you are gone back to your lair.
You seem so distant. Do you care,
about us who followed you masks, needles, and all?
Those of us who trusted your folderol.

Oh, Doctor Fauci, where have ye gone?
We know longer get to gaze upon,
your handsome old face of wisdom and sighs.
Oh, I guess we’ll go on to believe your lies.

But we miss Tony and that’s for sure.
See you somewhere, perhaps the next virus de jeur.
Hope you are well in your mansions we bought.
You owe us nothing, and neither we ought.
