This is Why We Fly

Bilbo Baggins has a famous line in the Lord of the Rings movie where he says, “Yes, I’m quite ready for another adventure.”

I miss the life of adventure, the flying, hiking, maidens, traveling, raising a family, and moving from place to place.

I miss meeting new people hearing their stories and going on adventures with them.

But the body and mind wear away. The adventures end at least in this life.

I wonder what comes next if anything.

It was something to do and I miss it.
